The sponge is particularly durable: it canbe washed in the washing machine together with cleaning cloths, drying towels or clothes .
Note regarding the material enamel
Enamel is a glass coating on metal. It is durable, hygienic and tasteless, but can chip if dropped or subjected to hard impacts.
Not suitable for microwave cooking.
Strong tannins from tea or very intensely colored foods can leave discolorations – however, this does not affect the quality or hygiene.
Instructions: How to cook correctly with the YIV braising pot

First add the fat to the pot, then heat slowly.

Dry the ingredients thoroughly before adding them.

Thanks to the even heat, the braising pot is perfect for slow cooking and flavor development.

Use wooden or silicone utensils to protect the surface.

Do not pour cold liquids into a hot pot – avoid temperature shocks.
