The YIV enamel children's plate with the hand-drawn motif by Nina Binkert (schönegrüsse.ch) makes every meal an experience. From the first purée to an adult plate – a plate for all stages of life.

Why heavy? Why a high rim?

The YIV children's plate intentionally weighs 660g – heavy enough so it doesn't slip or tip over while eating. No suction cup, no trick – just physics. The high rim helps children independently scoop food onto their spoon.

Our parent tip: Tuck a bib under the plate – this creates a natural pipeline directly into the bib. After showing them 1-3 times, they'll learn to eat all by themselves. And because the base is so solid, the plate won't deform even with heat – it always lies flat. Whether on the stove, in the oven, or on the grill: this plate can handle anything.
