Sustainable materials

Made from environmentally friendly steel with a glass coating (enamel). Free of harmful substances, aroma-neutral, resistant to fruit acids and CO₂-neutral production in Europe.

Care instructions

• Hand washing preferred, dishwasher safe on gentle cycle.

• Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal brushes.

• Avoid temperature shocks.

• For the best care, we recommend using our own YIV sponge – Clara's cleaning sponge , handmade in Felsberg, and a cleaning stone.

• The sponge is particularly durable: it can be washed in the washing machine together with cleaning cloths, drying towels or clothes – so it stays hygienically clean and lasts a very long time.

Note regarding the material enamel

Enamel is a glass coating on metal. It is durable and easy to clean, but can chip if dropped or subjected to hard impacts.
